What’s the most expensive car in your yard? And how much can you fork out in the future when buying a car? Bugatti unveiled the most expensive car of all time in the name of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, it costs £9.49 million and was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019. So what’s unique about this car and who owns it?

One-off Car

La Voiture Noire is one of a kind. The French luxury car company confirmed that it only built one of these prototype supercars. In essence, it was paying homage to the 110th anniversary of the company. They borrowed highly from the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic, with only four of these vehicles built between 1936 and 1938. The Bugatti La Voiture Noire features an 8.0-litre W16 engine and can turbocharge itself to a maximum speed of 260mph. You want to keep the speed low, or you may end up seeking help from the livi medical app for an accident that you could’ve avoided. The company asserted that the car had been in development for only six months, and even the interiors hadn’t been built at the time of presentation.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo the Owner of the Most Expensive Car?

Whether you admit it or not, Cristiano Ronaldo is a force to reckon with when it comes to the world of sports. He’s arguably the best player to have ever graced the game of football; this is just but an opinion. Ronaldo is known for living life on the fast lane, not to mention his insatiable appetite for fast and flashy cars. He’s rumoured to be the buyer and owner of the one-off Bugatti supercar. Bugatti neither confirmed nor denied these allegations, but it admitted that it had found a buyer. Earlier reports, though, indicated that the former chairman of the Volkswagen Group, Ferdinand Piech, was the owner.

Other luxury cars in Ronaldo’s collection include a Rolls-Royce Phantom, Bentley Continental GTC Speed, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Mercedes C Class Sport Coupe, McLaren MP4 12C, and Aston Martin DB9. He also owns a Bugatti Veyron, which he bought in 2016, and is valued at £1.7 million. Given that the legendary footballer’s social media platforms are devoid of any developments with regards to the hypercar, you don’t want to take this information seriously.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire At a Glance

The new Bugatti will first grace the road in 2021, with the main reason being that the company hasn’t finalised a few small details on the car. So, whoever the owner is, they’ll have to make do with other versions of Bugatti for at least two and a half years, before they can ride around in this beast. But this does not really come as a surprise, given that Bugatti always presents its new vehicles some years before the car can actually be driven around. However, it won’t be long before you see another top company releasing a new expensive car.
